Yeah, I’m not so sure that music will be such an uplifting experience for me once I lose my healthcare, once women and LGBT and other minorities lose what few rights they have worked so hard to gain, once our president openly mocks the disabled people in the country, once we fall further into financial ruin, once the race war is in full effect led by the political leaders in DC, once we are no longer a welcoming country for those looking to create a better life for themselves, and especially once nuclear armageddon begins.
But I guess that, for now, the solace provided by such things as music will be better than nothing.

I’m trying to be pragmatic about this and recognize that Trump now has to assemble a cabinet and he will only pass laws enacted by congress (which unfortunately is much redder than I’d like). My biggest worries are about the EPA, HHS, and Supreme Court.

I was just thinking about about how great the next Green Day, Rise Against, etc. albums are gonna be. Maybe a Trump-focused sequel album to Rock Against Bush too?
